Thursday 9 November 2017 Wavescape has teamed up with the Marine Stewardship Council to reward three lucky readers with a Fish surfboard by entering the #choosethebluefish competition on Twitter. Check it out.

Simply go to the Marine Stewardship Council Twitter page here and follow their page. After that, have a look at this page to familiarise yourself with the important work they are doing to make the world's fishing industry sustainable to ensure our oceans stay healthy.

Then, all that's left for you to do is send a Tweet that must include and complete the question:
I #choosethebluefish because ...

Make sure you use the hashtag #choosethebluefish and include @MSCinAfrica and @WavescapeSA so that we can track your entry. Those people whose answers best tell us who the MSC are and what they do for the ocean will win one of three 5' 10" Fish surfboards courtesy of Craig Paul from York Surfboards.

Your tweet should include reference to one or more of the following:

• Looking for blue MSC label when buying seafood
• Knowing where my seafood comes from
• Sustainable fishing or use of marine resources
• Supporting certified sustainable fisheries
• Ensuring seafood supplies for future generations
• Protecting oceans and marine ecosystems

Example of an entry on Twitter would be:
I #choosethebluefish because I want to know where my seafood comes from and I am protecting seafood supplies for future generations @MSCinAfrica @WavescapeSA

• Entrants must Tweet entry by completing sentence “I #choosethebluefish because ...
• The answer must show that they understand the meaning of the MSC label
• Entries must include #choosethebluefish @MSCinAfrica @WavescapeSA
• Winners will be chosen from original and correctly phrased tweets
• Winners announced in the week of 11th December
• Winners chosen at discretion of organisers and no correspondence will be entered into
• Winners must reside in South Africa
