Wednesday 12 November 2014 I've been sitting on some rad surf footage I filmed since I moved to the beautiful town of Jeffrey's Bay. After hearing about the Wavescape Shortcuts Competition, I felt it good to compile a 2014 showreel of surfing footage filmed exclusively in J-Bay. Competitions include the JBU RVCA Super Trails and the ASP WCT J-Bay Open with some free surfing from our own local boy Matt McGillivray. All footage was shot and edited by Jacques Crafford. Wednesday 12 November 2014 Last European winter Pieter Van Dievoort and I took the boat from mainland Europe to the UK. Two other mates joined and we set off for five days. We endured one of the biggest European low pressure sessions so we actually only managed to squeeze in three days of surfing. All in all we had a good trip with positive vibes. It emphasises the importance of adventure within life whilst bearing in mind the different motions in which we experience these moments of discovery.
