Thursday 25 Mo-vember 2010 The North Shore of Hawaii is the gladiator's arena for any aspiring waterman today. Surfers travel from all four corners of the globe to pit themselves against the ocean's grinding power on the shallow lava reefs of Oahu’s golden mile. Sasha Specker got over to the rock nice and early this year, mid-November, and already Hawaii has delivered the goods.
