The winners of the Gumtree Adventure on Wavescape

R10,000 in gear winner: Ty Lahner
R  5,000 in cash: Nola Rio

The organisers thank everyone for participating and apologise for keeping you on tenterhooks for so long. It was a tough process with an excellent array of entires.

We have also elected to award an additional two prizes of R5,000 in Gumtree gear to reward the generosity of Bongani Ndlovu and Donovan Will, who both pledged in their entries to give their Gumtree gear to worthy causes.

Bongani is going to give his gear (he's thinking surfboards, or maybe warm clothes for winter) to the kids in the NGO he works at, Waves For Change, and Donovan is going to trek 800 kms to Strydenburg in the Northern Cape to find a guy he met there during an epic MTB ride. He is then going to give him a brandnew mountain bike.

Wavescape and Gumtree will accompany both of them to record their amazing gestures, and we'll report back when they take place!
