We're Waking Up
Monday 26 August 2019 It's encouraging to see the WSL embracing the Glowing Glowing Gone campaign to stop coral reef degradation. Here's a gallery of their partnership, and the early rounds of the Tahiti Pro.
WSL PURE is collaborating with Glowing Glowing Gone, a global campaign, in partnership with The Ocean Agency, advocating for greater funding and action for coral reef conservation by highlighting the global danger signaled by fluorescing corals. There's even been pantone colours invented to corrolate the colours of the reefs. They turn flourescent as they die. This campaign raises awareness of the crisis facing coral reefs, while taking action in French Polynesia to support local projects to restore these habitats.
