The Whole 9 Miles
Tuesday 27 May 2014 Pull into the 9Miles Invitational Surf Challenge this Saturday at Nine Miles beach near Strandfontein Beach for a celebration of surf culture along this historic stretch of False Bay.

There are a host of cool things to entertain and educate your family and friends. Organiser Nigel Savel, who is the founder of the 9Miles Project, a community initiative, says all folk are welcome to join in the fun at 9Miles Surf Spot, Surf Road, Strandfontein Beach from 08:30am to 17:30pm.
Activities on the day include a family / surfers tag team challenge, treasure hunt and sand castle competition for the kids, as well as safety demos and swimming and surfing lessons by the NSRI, Strandfontein Lifesaving Club and Little Mermaid Swimming School.
For those into a bit of a stroll down the beach, join us for an Eco Surf Walk from the Muizenberg Pavilion to Nine Miles.
