Stand Down Margaret
Thursday 29 August 2013 Stand Down Margaret, sang the Beat. The dik SE swell has downgraded. The storm that got us frothing has gone, vanished back into the murky digital depths from whence it cam, splutters Spike.

Sadly, we may have to scupper those froth-based plans to drive to a range of secret wrapper spots because the storm that was due to form off the SE side of SA has now morphed into a normal winter storm.
The easterly winds now blow towards Brazil, not South Africa. Sure there looks to be some interesting options heading for Cape Town, and False Bay in particular on around Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise a big heaving SW buster and big chunky S to SW swell is now going to hit the country east of Agulhas.
Stand Down.
