Spot the Spot Oct 2010

Friday 3 December 2010 The winner of the Lizzard Wavescape Spot the Spot Competition has been announced. The clue was quite logical really, but you have to live on, or surf along, the West Coast to get the reference to the early Dutch East India men who toiled in this hood.

In the old days, the Dutch East India Company would store their sheep on a  small headland. Well, the surf on the nearby beach has a metallic glint as each barrelling left wells up after it breaks.
