Sharing Stoke!
Monday 4 December 2017 It was all about the stoke as a record 22 teams from 12 outreach projects took part in the 2017 Sea Harvest Share the Stoke Outreach Games recently. Photo gallery by Grant Scholtz.
The games, held in a stiff onshore at the Pavilion in Muizenberg, was dedicated to SA surfing legend Ahmed Collier, who passed away recently. Brain-child of the event, Rory Heard, 45, works with Firewire Surfboards, who donate surfboards to his Share the Stoke Foundation for disadvantaged surfers. Firewire gifted seven boards for groups who made the finals. The Surfshack A Team won the event, while the Surf Outreach A Team took 2nd, Surf Outreach B 3rd and Waves 4 Change 4th.
