Rogue Wave off Cape Point?

Tuesday 12 October 2010 Did anyone see any signs of this crazy spike in the CSIR Cape Town buoy off Cape Point yesterday? According to the graph, a 25 metre pulse came through at an outlandishly, never heard of, 25 seconds. So are we talking a 100' wave coming through on the Cape Point physical buoy at lunchtime, or are we talking about someone at the CSIR dropping a piece of quiche into the keyboad of their laptop? There have been no reports of rogue waves, or other unusual wave action on the coast, but perhaps this really was something? Tune us what you think, or if you know of a George Clooney fishing crew who lost their lives and boat climbing up a water wall like a microscopic bug.
