Sups are proving invaluable for getting us out to the barrier reefs, towing shortboards and supplies.

Locals say they’ve never seen surfing here before, kids were shouting from the hill overlooking the reef and swamped us when we eventually got back to the beach.

Woke to a rise in swell which revealed a rad new spot across the bay from our home on the cliff.

First victim of the shallow coral heads; Greg’s Spider gets washed in from the back where it was anchored to the reef. 3 Fins lost, and a smashed tail, rail and nose are claimed by the peak we dubbed Mazungu’s Ledge.
