Fest Films win polls
Tuesday 7 December 2010 Three Wavescape Surf Film Festival films this year - Sea of Darkness, Modern Collective and Who is JOB? - have won awards in the annual SURFER Poll, including best documentary and movie of the year for the first two respectively.

To top off the two films' achievements, Jordy Smith got the Best Manouvre award for his crazy bust outs in Modern Collective. The two films are screening at the Wavescape Surf Film Festival in Cape Town next week, along with the other big winner at the poll, Who is JOB? whose star and director Jamie O'Brien won the Heavy Water award.
In the Reader's Poll, Jordy Smith also scooped, showing his huge popularity in the States, coming in third behind King Kelly and second placed Dane Reynolds, while Stephanie Gilmore, who has won four consecutive world women's titles, swept her poll.
