Thursday 19 September 2013 And now, the moment of truth. Where did Conn and Greg Bertish go in the Indian Ocean to score these classic waves? Oh and the spot is named Nasser Point even though Greg earned naming rights with this kiff little tucker up.
Greg earned the right to name the spot with this classic little tucker. But what to name this new point we had discovered? What to name a break no human being has ever mind surfed before, let alone ride it in the flesh.
mmm.
For the life of us, we could not think of a name. Bertishes? Nah. Not much of a ring to it. Then we stumbled on some local village graffitti, and hey presto, Nasser Point!
Oh and by the way, if you still wondering, we went to Comores, that little group of islands NW of northern Madagascar. A big thanks to Comores Tourism for this amazing opportunity, and for Spike for trying to get himself on board by doing eight blogs of our trip.
