Wednesday 19 August 2015 What chances do you have if you’re Herbie Fletcher’s grandson; Christian Fletcher is your dad and Nathan Fletcher is your uncle? Well, either way you’re going to ride boards, writes Craig Jarvis.
Greyson Fletcher chose skateboards and surfboards, and eventually excelled on skateboards. He is now one of the most exciting skaters in the world. When he’s not skating in the X-Games or on the Dew Tour, he’s in the water shredding on whatever waves he can find.
One thing about Greyson is that he always attracts a crowd. He’s going to be in South Africa as part of the RVCA South Africa Tour, and will be skating In Jozi at the Germiston Bowl on 21 August and at the Maboneng Skate Jam on 22 August, is hoping to surf in Durban before hitting the valley Of 1000 Hills on his skateboard on 26 August. He finishes up in Cape Town at Millstreet Park before a tour signing at Baseline on 2 August.
Greyson will be joined by teammates Julian Davidson, Kevin ‘Spanky’ Long and Josh Harmony, and are going to attracts some crowds.
