Marine Speaker Series
Friday 22 June 2012 The Save Our Seas Shark Centre in Kalk Bay will hold a Marine Conservation Speaker Series over the next two months to educate and inform the public on shark and marine conservation topics specific to South Africa.

Influential individuals, scientists, and researchers will take to the podium every Thursday for the next five weeks to share their knowledge and passion for sharks and marine conservation through a series of free talks to the public.
Kim von Brandis of the Shark Centre says: “It’s crucial to keep the public informed of local research and its outcomes; to help them understand the threats to our marine environment, and encourage public participation.”
