What is it? The final event in the 2015 Billabong Junior Series presented by BOS. The series comprised two events, with the first one having been held at Magnatubes in July during the JBay Winterfest.

The Billabong Junior Series has been running in South Africa since 1997, and is the biggest and most prestigious junior series in the country, producing many a surfing champion.

When is it taking place? The long weekend of 25 - 27 September. Thursday 24 September is a public holiday, Heritage Day.

Where is it all going down? Seal Point, Cape St Francis is the venue for this event. With permission granted by the Seal Point Boardriders Club to run this event, it will take place at the iconic Seal Point, one of the funnest and most ripple right-hand point-breaks on the East Coast of South Africa. There will be an opening function for the event at the Cape St Francis Resort at 18h30.

Why is Billabong doing this? Billabong has a long history of nurturing the junior surfing talent in this country and gearing them up for professional surfing careers. This is part of their legacy and is something that they will continue to do in whatever shape or form. Junior surfing is what carries our surfing name in the country, and Billabong is proud to be a part of this cycle of unearthing and grooming talented surfers to achieve their dreams.

Who is going to be there? The best junior surfers in the country, all the way to the WSL Pro Junior U20 division. This will be a gathering of the best of the best, and everyone will have one thing in mind and that is to win. The noticeable absence of Kai Woolf will open up the junior girls divisions, and the absence of the winner of the Pro Junior Mens (he was a visiting American surfer) is also going to have exciting ramifications for this division.
