Wednesday 7 December 2011 Presented by Wavescape, Surfing and Sharks is a study of the complex relationship between surfers and men in grey suits starring our own Roosta, as well as Avuyile Ndmase (his brother died after a shark bite in Port St Johns) and Kowie's Lungani Memani.

this fascinating study of the complex relationship between surfers and sharks around South Africa examines the opinions of scientists, shark experts, shark bite survivors and surfers. The documentary weaves the interviews around beautiful surf imagery (and huge South Coast surf) as it delves deep into our fear-fuelled psychosis. The journey the surfers take culminates in a cathartic free diving trip with sharks off the Kwa-Zulu Natal coast.
