Days of Our Lives

Tuesday 28 May 2019 In the first part of our new "soapie", a surferized Days of our Lives photo series, we see Michael February and others in their element, expertly captured by photographer Neil Bradfield.

"So you just get those days. When Betelgeuse lines up with Uranus. When that beautiful person on the train finally winks at you and acknowledges your existence. When soft southeasters tickle your aura and brush back a marching groundswell. On this day, all of the above came into play. And more. Lines poured through at this sexy semi-secret surf spot tucked into the corner of a murderously long beach. The surfers were all over it like a rash, and I had to constantly pour paraffin into my Nikon to keep up with the barrage of airs and off the lips. Enjoy!" - Neil

Neil-Bradfield

According to his Instagram account, Neil Bradfield is: Raconteur. Ruffian. Purveyor of moments. Hoarder of split seconds. Born in africa - at a very young age. Not much more to say really - as I slip into geyser-dom the stoke is greater than ever. I split my time between Noordhoek and Greyton and shoot anything that moves. The pleasure that I get capturing /sharing images is the reward. And of course I love needling the “lighties” reminding them I surfed their “secret spots” long before they were even little sperm fishies!
