After helping him with his tire he cycled with us, at an incredible speed (we were on fancy new mountain bikes and could hardly keep up to him on his old skedonk), into town (Strydenburg). This guy was just cycling home from work, but he was doing so as if it was an epic adventure. If Gumtree knocked at my door with R10k worth of a decent mountain bike and some useful accessories I’d personally delivery them to him so he can continue to turn his days into epic adventures without relying on passersby to help fix his bike!
