It’s my 7th day of rising at 5:30 am to walk from the bottom of the Kloof road up to the base of Table Mountain. I am about to give up. I check my phone to see a message from a colleague; it’s a link to the Gumtree site… Curiosity makes me tap it, apprehensively. The ad fills my screen “Custom motorized bicycle” Ah. Out of my price range. Phone beeps again. “Hope you like it, from the A-team” I peep around the door and there it is! My friends and GUMTREE saved the day!!!
