As South Africa stirred from her weekend slumber and prepared for the week ahead, Justin Klusner was running up and down the piers of Durban’s beachfront. The swell had kicked in and the coast of KZN was firing. As usual, the crew were all over it as a southeast swell ground through.

Stevo and Lawrie mission to the Boland on Freedom Day for a day of big, inconsistent bombs. The wind wasn’t quite right, the swell direction not 100% and the water was freezing. Still, it was enough to get the boys in the water and take a few monsters on the head.

Ian Thurtell shoots the most overshot wave in Cape Town. Freedom Day at False Bay's notorious Kalk Bay reef brought many barrels. Nice to note that Ian took the time to find fresh angles and interesting perspectives on this paparazzi of an urbanised wave.
