Forecast Overview

(Chris, 9am Wednesday 1 September 2010)

Wednesday is small with moderate to light S winds blowing through the day, so there could be a bumpy, spmwhat sideways wave. Thursday looks good with fresh to strong offshores blowing through the day and a lekker 3-4' of swell. Friday morning could also cook with light SW winds and 3-4', and looks fun all day as the winds stay light. Saturday it's over though as the NE blows hard and squelches the surf. Sunday a puff of NW before the NE comes up and small swell.

Forecast Overview

(Chris, 10am Wednesday 1 September 2010)

Wednesday S winds blow through the day, starting with SW then going more E. Swell is small, 1-2' and it's generally looking crappy. Thursday more moderate SW winds and now there is more swell, 2-3' and it's looking sideshore but better. Friday fresh SW drops off through the day and it's 2-3', so there could be a lekker glass off for the arvi. Saturday is small and the NE comes up hard so don't expect much. Sunday still NE winds and small swell.

Wednesday it's not looking good sadly, the S wind has destroyed any clean lines by mid morning and the surf is 2'. Thursday winds still look fresh S, maybe SW, so sideshore and broken up, although there is slightly more swell at 2-4'. Friday SW still blows and there could be a 2-3' wave in the evening, provided the onshore doesn't pick up. Saturday the NE pounds through with a fury that decimates all surf. Sunday NE still pounding away.

Forecast Overview

(Chris, 11pm Wednesday 1 September 2010)

Wednesday SW winds in the morning clean it up a bit and there are fun 2' peaks around. It may get bumpy later as a straight S blows. Thursday wind is still S, and swell 2-3', so there should be some form of wave, albeit a bit sideways. Friday looks to be good as SW comes through and there is a solid 3-4' from the E. Should be good all day. Saturday it's over though, and the NE comes through to blast the dying swell. Sunday small and NE all day.

Saturday more bad news as the NE blows all day and small surf wobbles in. Sunday is tiny but the NE winds back off a bit, still not real chance of surf. ore N winds and less swell. Monday fresh to strong NE winds blow and frustrated surfers curse. Tuesday swell pulls in and S winds blow.
