Quoting Anna:
Hello there!
It's been a while since this camera stopped working. I enjoyed it SO much!
For those of us who live abroad it was like an antidote for our nostalgia. Hope it will be repaired soon.

Greetings from Spain! :-)

Hey Anna, Im home on holiday so its pretty cool to be back. I surfed Barcelona during the heavy wind conditions about 2 months back and had a blast although locals were quiet concerned about safety which I suppose was a good thing. Also met a lot of locals. Will catch a wave here for you.

Ha ha ha, very funny, but I do really rely on this service. I live about 30km's from the beach and always check the cams before heading down. It's a valuable service and it's a bit frustrating if they're down or pointing to the sky. Lovely shot of Table Mountain this morning! Anyway, I know Van Strand will be cooking this morning. I'm outta here!!!

If the cams are down, there's a site where you can view full HD live panoramic images of all the breaks in your area. Weather conditions, crowd factor and swell direction included.

@CityBowlResident, you should be able to see the swell lines on blouberg side from town side, so therefor you shouldn't really need a cam to work out what the surf is like #I'mJustSaying
Quoting City bowl resident:
Hi there. None of the webcams seem to be working at the moment. Maybe remove them rather than keep them up here. It is less embarassing.

@City bowl resident - Show some appreciation for this free service. Maybe these cams should go down so people like you will stay home!
