The Muizenberg webcam is situated above the Empire Cafe overlooking Surfer's Corner and gives you a bird's eye view of what the surf is doing. This webcam is managed and maintained by the good people at the Corner Surf Shop. The cam image is refreshed every four minutes, automatically if you have the page up.

Hi @ - Windguru and various other sites (including this one) will refer to the swell in the open ocean, which is usually about 3 to 4 times the height of the actual waves at the beach. So a 6.4m swell will probably equate to a wave of about 4-5 foot. It's not easy to see this swell and it is often registered by ocean buoys.
But having said that, I also don't recall waves of this size on the day...

Its just the time we live in now, the amount of power that has been centralized has made it near impossible for man to live apart from society, even the man without responsibility is chained to the devils hand. I guess our only salvation lies in abolishing yourself your identity your ego the machine that produces desire for this is the metaphor for the chain that binds you but its what you have come to believe is your existence and who would kill them self? haha a broad topic at hand so remember this as just a rambling of poetic justice.
But at the end of the day experience what you can and work where you can maintaining balance is really your only stability.
