if you look at wind guru it said that there is 6.4 meter swell. Its not even 2 !!!!!

Hi @ - Windguru and various other sites (including this one) will refer to the swell in the open ocean, which is usually about 3 to 4 times the height of the actual waves at the beach. So a 6.4m swell will probably equate to a wave of about 4-5 foot. It's not easy to see this swell and it is often registered by ocean buoys.

But having said that, I also don't recall waves of this size on the day...

Beautiful sets at Muizenberg yesterday, perfect wave after perfect wave just kept rolling in. The best day I've seen in the last 12 months

Empty pockets cant dance and the devil will find ways for idle hands.

Its just the time we live in now, the amount of power that has been centralized has made it near impossible for man to live apart from society, even the man without responsibility is chained to the devils hand. I guess our only salvation lies in abolishing yourself your identity your ego the machine that produces desire for this is the metaphor for the chain that binds you but its what you have come to believe is your existence and who would kill them self? haha a broad topic at hand so remember this as just a rambling of poetic justice.

But at the end of the day experience what you can and work where you can maintaining balance is really your only stability.

Very broad but A rambling of poetic justice served well! If only we could eliminate the materialistic mind - hey everyone for themselves I guess - if you are bright enough to figure it out then way to go! I will experience the hell out of this time and place. Keep it real :-)

I conquer! Why am I sitting in an office right now? I am pretty f'n sure I could be doing what I want to be doing right now. Life is passing me by!!! Anyways... there's always a contradiction

Fun stuff longboarding at MBerg this morning...eventually dragged myself out of the water to go and contribute to the economy...but will that actually make any difference?

Would be great if wavescape saved 10 of the previous pictures as well as the current one, bound to see a set somewhere, and gives a better picture of what the surf is doing.
