INDIES SURF SPOTS :: THUNDERS

When everywhere else is flat you can still get a wave at this super consistent and exposed island. And when there is a decent swell running Thunders starts thundering.

This wave handles almost any swell. It can deliver round reef hugging barrels at mid to pushing tide when the swell is head high to overhead and it has a separate wide peak which splits the pack and offers a great cutback wall and fast but shallow inside section. But when there is swell Thunders gets big with a lot of water moving around and 12-15 foot sets intent on throwing you like a rag doll into the palm trees. Bigger boards are required with giant A-frame peaks rolling through. Sometimes the peak is nothing more than a huge drop, but once you get to know the wave there are some outrageous back door barrels to be had.
