Rifles on
its day must be rated in the top 5
waves in the world. It is perfect,
hollow and VERY VERY LONG. But this
right hand point break does not
deliver very often and easily gets
blown out. But when it goes it will
have onlookers slack jawed. Three 10
second barrels on one wave is common
place. When someone takes off they are
a speck in the distance, driving from
tube to tube until they pass right by
you and then disappear from sight down
the line.
It works only on a S swell and glassy or westerly wind conditions. If it was more consistent it would be the best wave in the Mentawais.
