INDIES SURF SPOTS :: PLAYGROUNDS

From where we anchor in the Playgrounds there are three very fun waves which are totally separate from each other but each within paddling distance of the boat. This may be difficult to picture in your mind, which is why you have to come and see for yourself!

Little Lagundri is a fantastic right hand reef break which is designed for lip smacks, airs and round house cutbacks. Best at mid to high tide and rarely over 4 ft, this is a great option for beginner and intermediate surfers.

G-strings is a left hand “slide” and a favorite for beginners and long boarders.

A-frames is as the name describes an A-frame peak which runs to the left and during a south swell forms into a ledging horseshoe barrel which can pleasantly catch you by surprise. All 3 of the Playgrounds breaks are within a dingy ride from Kandui and Rifles which makes them a great alternative for those who require easier waves while their mates are surfing heavier waves elsewhere.
