Cape Town comes to life in summer, not that winter is dull, what with all the massive waves pounding our coastline, the cosy adventures in the wine lands and the lazy evenings spent in front of the fireplace waiting out the torrential rains of yet another cold front.

But as every true capetownian knows, summer on the Peninsula is
something special. Winter clothes are shed for board shorts and
bikinis. Once desolate beaches brim with life and sun soaked bodies and
the party vibe grows with each weekend.
To kick start the summer fun, Cosmo hosted its annual Summer party at Ignite in Camps Bay, Cape Town on the 11th of November. All the summer fashion featured in the magazine’s annual Summer issue was showcased at the Egypt-themed fashion show.
Our malpit surf photographer Peter Lambert dragged himself out of his neoroprene clad environment to capture images from the catwalk.
The brands featured in this year’s Cosmo Summer issue are Speedo, Woolworths, Davidoff, Sunglass Hut, Vawter, Clicks, Max Factor, Scott & Wells, Havaianas, AC Activewear and Hang Ten.
