Its the 7th annual Onrus Surf Classic on the 18th and 19th of December at Onrus beach near Hermanus. The event has gained popularity with some of SA's top surfers and bodyboarders and we are anticipating this year's contest to be bigger than ever before!

You will see some epic tubes, spectacular wipeouts and some awesome surfing from around the Cape Peninsula. See below for a teaser image showing part of the throngs watching Jordy pigdogging through the tube on the other side of the railway track at Kalk Bay on the final day.

As a spectator, it was classic to watch, except when the blerry trains seemed bent on chundering past at the precise moment a surfer was paddling into another drop, the last coach whizzing by just as the guy kicked out of what must have been another epic barrel!

Respected yoga master Jim Harrington, who has surfed for 30 years, is offering a special course for surfers near Jeffreys Bay during the Billabong Pro on the weekend of July 11 and 12.
