The Bay of Plenty in Durban saw some 900 or so surfers and their friends and families pull into the opening film of the Wavescapes Surf Film Festival. The film Dear and Yonder, which is not your normal thrash and bash, rip and tear affair, highlighted the style and finesse of women surfing.
