As a celebration of the relaunch of the new Wavescape (what a mal experience deep in the byte-sized thickets of code and chaos it has been), Wavescape is offering a Wavescape local (become one by registering in the right toolbar - it gives you the right to upload pics to the gallery and create your own business profile in the directory) a R500 surfing hamper for the best example of a photo, or collection of themed photos, from your surfing past. Submit photos that best express the colour, the  trends, the bad hairstyles, the shocking fashion sense, the lack of crowds, of your past. Please send your shots, either individually or as a collage, to spike at wavescape.co.za and feel free to add some context to the pics by writing a few words. Photos need to be no bigger than 1mb each (no smaller than 800 pixels wide at a decent resolution of at least 150 dpi) and no more than five shots at once. We have extended the competition until the end of August, when the winner will be announced. We will produce a classic photo essay of all your photos. Here's a collage of some of our memories.
