Don't forget to catch the next yoga for surfing retreat, which will be held near Elands Bay on 14-16 October. Jim Harrington, yoga guru of note, has designed a set of routines with the surfer specifically in mind.
YOGA FOR SURFERS SCHEDULE
Stay at Vensterklip, Velorenvlei Nature Reserve for two nights and three days and work a special routine with Jim, who has over 30 years of surfing and 25 years of yoga. Jim (ERYT, Dip Remedial Therapy, Dip Sports Therapy, BSc) will show you how to work with yoga to improve your surfing and to stay surfing fit. Jim has worked with the International Cricket Team of India using his knowledge of yoga to enhance sports performance.
Stay in the cottages (Sharing: R1250 full weekend or R630 per night, Single: R1450 full weekend / R740.00 per night). You can also camp for R800 full weekend or R410 per night. Children under 12 are half price
The fee includes: sesseions of yoga in the morning and evening with surfing inbetween, accommodation and all meals. Babysitting can be arranged!
