The Cape Town clip of the BASE crash endured by Jeb Corliss has been made private. Sorry for that. However, the second video should still work. It's his crazy-assed "Grinding the Crack" wingsuit flight.

GRINDING THE CRACK, oh my hat

I believe he won't be charged and is expected to be released from ICU in a day or two, he will be wheelchair bound until he can rehabilitate his damaged leg.

I haven't been able to view the above footage,is there a privacy issue?

Jeb is banned from the Empire State Building but the flying man has logged over a 1000 jumps and is no fool despite the craziness of his feats.
If there is a bill to be paid, his sponsors would best pick up the tab.
Check this link, you will had an OMG moment.

Not the government that pays, the taxpayer pays. Besides that detail, no need to fine him or arrest him, just charge him for the costs. He knew the risks, so he can take the responsibility for the consequences. He didn't harm anyone else so persecuting him is pointless. It should be up to him and his insurance company to carry the risk.

Fining/arresting this guy would be like swearing at your grandmother. Just wrong. He redifines what is possible everytime he jumps. I say leave him alone. And throw some sponsorships at him while your're at it....

Yes, we do need to fine the guy. I have no idea how much the rescue must have cost our government but I am guessing it is a *&^#*+*! load. Also, our medics could be saving or rescueing someone else. This guy must pay.

Come on, do we really need to arrest the guy? He's in enough pain already. Perhaps our law enforcement agencies can focus their attention on more relevant issues than one lone nut case hurting only himself.

Hope you pull through Jeb.
